JIM OWEN, was
inducted into the Old Time Country Music Hall of Fame on August
28, 2007 during the National Traditional Country
Music Association's (NTCMA) annual old time music festival to
be held in Missouri Valley, Iowa. Of course Jim Owen is no
stranger to Halls of Fame - His August 28th Hall of Fame
induction it is his fifth hall of fame to honor him. He
already has a display in the Kentucky Music Hall of Fame, he is
a "Friend" in the Texas Country Music Hall of Fame in Carthage,
Texas (he can't be a full member because he was not born in
Texas), he is a member of the Branson Entertainers Hall of Fame,
and a member of the George D. Hay Foundation and Country Music
Hall of Fame.
"In May, The Jim
Owen Show performed at the Old Creamery Theatre in The Amanas,
Iowa, sponsored by the Canopy Masonic Lodge (where Jim is a
member). The show was so successful, the Lodge was able to award
five scholarships to deserving Clear Creek/Amana High School
seniors from the proceeds, according to Larry Osborne, Canopy
Lodge Master. Jim returns to the Old Creamery Theatre in 2008
for a encore performance."

Jim is doing very well with
his music in Europe, has made number 1 in the Charts and is
loved by ALL the Dj's
SNAKE SONG has also done very well and has also made Number 1 in
the charts
Several Country Music Magazines in EUROPE have written about
Jim tin 2008 .
